Ramadan — the most rewarding, the most crowded
Umrah in Ramadan carries immense reward, and the atmosphere is unforgettable. It is also the busiest and most expensive period, with the Haram extremely crowded — especially in the last ten nights.
Winter (Nov–Feb) — the most comfortable weather
Pleasant, cool temperatures make winter ideal for elderly pilgrims and families. It is a popular season, so book hotels near the Haram early.
Summer (Jun–Aug) — quietest and most affordable
Outside Ramadan, the summer months are the least crowded and most budget-friendly, though daytime heat in Makkah can be intense. Early mornings and evenings are best for worship.
